The National Level SHG Best Federation Awards 2025 are meant to recognize, applaud & honor outstanding performances of SHG Federations in India.

The Awards event is scheduled to be held on 20 and 21 November 2025 in Hyderabad.

All SHG Federations from Rural, Semi Urban or Urban areas, either promoted by Government or NGOs are eligible to send their nominations. SHG Federations fulfilling the following eligibility criteria shall be considered for the National Awards 2025

• Women membership, number of SHGs and duration

• Operational self-sufficiency: Federations which have achieved Operational self-sufficiency in the last three years.

Note: Federations which were previously awarded will be ineligible to apply for three subsequent years. (Example: If a Federation received an award in 2024, they will be eligible to apply again in 2028).

Selection Procedure

• Nominations of eligible SHG Federations, women FPOs can be submitted by promoters or directly by the SHG Federation, in the prescribed formats (Part 1 to 4)
• SHG Federations which are shortlisted will be intimated through email with a link to fill another set of detailed formats.
• An expert committee shall review the nominations & recommend shortlisted SHG Federations to a Jury for various awards.
• These recommendations shall be further evaluated by an eminent Jury to choose the final winners under each category.
• For regional level awards, based on the applications received, the Jury may segregate applications into Matured & Emerging Federations and after review of the data Jury will take a decision on top two Federations for the regional awards.

Instructions

Please read all the instructions before attempting to fill the nomination forms.

• All the information provided in the nomination form will be used solely for evaluating applicant SHG Federation according to parameters decided by the Awards Secretariat.
• All the documents submitted towards completion of the nomination form will be the property of the Awards Secretariat.
• Nomination must be accompanied by:
  • Three years' audited financial statements,
  • Demand collection balance statement and
  • SHG MIS. Without these three documents, the nomination will not be accepted.
• Decision of the jury will be final and binding. Every effort has been made to ensure that due consideration is given to all the applications received based on the parameters decided under each category. No further queries will be entertained by the Awards Secretariat or the Jury.
• The organizer and the sponsor will not assume any liability for loss or damage of any kind by use of the information provided herein.
• The organizers are not responsible for any dispute or disagreements.
• The nomination process is in two rounds. The first round consists of four parts and each part has to be completed sequentially. Those who qualify for the second round will be intimated through email. The second round consists of two parts.
• After completion of each form, you will be sent a link to the form for the subsequent part through email. Please ensure that the email address is correct. Any other correspondence related to the awards will also use the email address given by you.
• Before submitting each part, please verify the correctness of data entered. Once the data is submitted, it cannot be altered.
• It is suggested to print the form first and fill it manually before filling the form online. Hard copies will not be accepted.
